HOC staff will be willing to
work with those who want to offer similar
services or establish Homeownership Centers
in other parts of the state. The assistance
that may be provided to each Center will
be tailored to its objectives and capabilities
and to the specific needs of its service
area. HOC has completed a contractor agreement
with NR to provide consulting services to
the NeighborWorks network in the specialty
skills areas of first mortgage/rehab lending
and homebuyer education/promotions.
HOC has the capacity to offer inspection
services to others on a fee-for-service basis.
Inspection services by RHCA employees are
offered to homebuyers and sellers in conjunction
with lease- purchase sales and HOC-assisted
loans. RCHA inspectors are BOCA certified.
